The results are in!

The 7^th annual golf tournament in Chris’s memory was once again a success thanks to all of our loyal participants and donors! This year’s event raised over $10,300!! We did receive several donations to the fund in memory of Thomas F. Rowan who sadly passed away in June of this year. Tom participated in every golf tournament, right up until last year and lived a wonderful life. RIP Pop, we love you!

Congratulations to this year’s winners David Marsocci, Derek Levangie, Rich Manning and Eric Hackenson who set a low round record for the tournament at -15 par!!! 

We’re happy to announce that another $10,000 donation has been made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute toward melanoma research under the direction of Chris’s oncologist as always. We are also still continuing to fund the WHRSD Scholarship in Chris’s name and most recently awarded a $750 Scholarship to Andrew Boisjolie, W-H class of 2018. Congratulations Andrew, and best of luck in your first year of college!

So once again, on behalf of the entire Rowan Family, thank you ever so much for continuing to support this event which not only provides cancer researchers with additional resources they need in hopes of putting an end to this devastating disease, but also helps to keep Chris’s memory alive, particularly on the day of the tournament each year when we all remember why we’re really there.
